Conservatory Adventure 2025!

Earlier in the year, I decided to stop by the Garfield Park Conservatory and take a look at what's new. It's been a while since my last visit, and I was excited to see all the new plants and the ongoing activities at the Conservatory. It turns out that a lot is happening, including the construction of a new kids' area. While I'm certainly not the target audience, it's a wonderful project, and it will be interesting to see how the plants are integrated into the design.

It was still cold out, but the tropical climate plants were already blooming. The Conservatory also played animal sound recordings, and I was reminded of home. It was quite wonderful.

I have to remind myself next time to make sure I rent a locker or do a coat check. I got so excited, I completely forgot I could do this, and the heat and humidity were deadly with that coat on. I'm pretty sure my winter coat gained at least a pound of sweat.

Lastly, editing these shots was quite enjoyable. I find it hilarious that out of 235 shots, I only found 15 suitable. I've heard that this is a common practice among photographers. If you are a photographer, do you do this as well?
