As my 40th decade draws closer, I finally got on the task of not failing at doing the once-famous A Day in My Life (ADIML). It only took me 40 years to be half consistent for one day! I am indeed someone not to be messed with. LOL!

ADIML

I couldn't sleep the night before, so I decided to commit to this debachery. 

A very excited puppy. I decided to seize the day and take us on an adventure. We decided on Chicago's 606 Trail.

Happy and exhausted! 

I was this scarab on our way home. I've always had a thing for them, and they hold a certain energy for me. I was glad to see a purple one. 

Not a usual purchase, but I got bacon on my last grocery order. I get it now, LOL!

Decided to take my neighbor to do her shopping. Rainbow and I had some chill time in the car (Yes, and I agree, the car is gross).

Isn't she so beautiful!

I also made some afternoon plans.

... and painted a bit. 

My friend A. arrives and decides to make us dinner.

In the meantime, I edit and do some internetting.

Dinner was made. It was quite delicious! 

After dinner, wonderful chats were had. 

But it was turning late, and I had to call it a night. I started back at work the next day. :(
